How the calculator works
From your height to a starting size
Start with height
Height and bike type give you a conservative general estimate. Imperial measurements are converted to centimetres before calculation.
Refine with a model
Published rider ranges can replace a general estimate when we have verified sizing for your selected model. Selecting a brand alone does not make the result official.
Keep the limits in mind
A size label is a starting point, not a complete bike fit. Geometry, proportions and comfort differ by model. Overlapping ranges retain both candidates.
Road, gravel and mountain sizing
Road
General results use approximate centimetre labels. These are nominal size references, not actual seat-tube measurements.
Gravel
General results use traditional road-equivalent zones. Gravel frames can carry different labels and geometry for a similar rider.
Mountain
General results use broad alpha classes. A boundary keeps both classes; brand-specific mountain bike labels can differ.
FAQ
Do I need to know my brand and model?
No. Height and bike type are enough for a first estimate. Adding a supported model can provide more specific official sizing when a published rider mapping is available.
What if I am between sizes?
Both candidates remain available. There is no automatic size-up or size-down choice. Compare the model's guidance and try the bikes when possible.
Does inseam change my recommendation?
Inseam affects an official result only when verified candidate-level inseam ranges are available. The general road inseam estimate is a secondary reference; it does not narrow the recommendation. General gravel and mountain recommendations do not change with inseam.
Why does a selected Bianchi model still give a general estimate?
We have model information and available size labels, but no verified public rider-to-size mapping for these Bianchi models that we can reproduce reliably. A model information link is not an official sizing recommendation.
